The redesigned experience first launched as a beta in June 2025. Over the past seven months, the Census Bureau team led a focused effort to gather user feedback, refine functionality, and enhance performance. What’s Coming Next
The official release is an important milestone, and continued innovation is already underway. Upcoming enhancements include:
Dark Mode. USA Trade Online will introduce the first dark mode experience for a Census Bureau platform, improving accessibility and giving users greater control over their workspace.
Custom Groups. Users will soon be able to create and save Custom Groups to aggregate commodities, countries, and other data categories based on their specific analytical needs.
Expanded Support Section. A more robust Support Section will provide integrated guidance and documentation to help users quickly find answers and maximize the platform’s capabilities.
Build a Chart. The upcoming Build a Chart feature will allow users to generate visualizations directly within the platform, turning data into clear, shareable insights in just a few clicks.
