Reveal’s Survey of Construction Team presented their work on “New Construction Activity Detection and Classification via Satellite Imagery and Machine Learning.” The presentation highlighted an end-to-end system developed for the U.S. Census Bureau that integrates high-resolution satellite imagery and machine learning to detect new residential construction, track progress month-to-month, and classify building types.
