Dr. Naveen Kapoor, Ph.D., President 

Dr. Naveen Kapoor has over 20 years of experience supporting clients in over 15 countries in M&E, Telco, Manufacturing, Banking and Finance, Real Estate and Marketing. In one of his most recent leadership roles, as the Lead Architect/Developer for the US Census Bureau Dr. Kapoor created, updated, and maintained highly available LB and DR resilient enterprise applications for both public and internal consumption for the Department of Commerce.  He led a team of developers in delivering content by integrating Economic Census programs using Java, RCP and Eclipse Plugins with SOA-based tools for integration with backend DTOs. As an integral part of this project, Dr. Kapoor documented and delivered web services supporting over 1.1M transactions/day. He scaled the website to support over 10M transactions/day, managing sessions in databases to support high availability. For his work with the US Census Bureau, Dr. Kapoor has been the recipient of multiple awards and recognitions by the Department of Commerce. 

Prior to working with the US Census Bureau, Dr. Kapoor worked with Deloitte Consulting and contributed to the company receiving the global award for the best Billing and Customer Care Applications.  He was responsible for delivering requirements for clients at Verizon, South Africa Telekom, Cable & Wireless, Global Crossing, iPulsys, and Vodafone. He established SOA governance, revenue assurance, and leakage preventionAdditionally, he mentored developers and consultants in billing, customer care, trouble ticket and CRM applications. 

Dr. Kapoor has worked as a systems architect for Wells Fargo BankAdelphia Communications (chief architect), MWAA, and Foxboro. At Wells Fargo Bank, he was a consultant in developing SOA governance, specifications, solutions and re-engineering projects.  He developed and integrated over 120 website applications in Java, PHP, Oracle, MySQL for the integration of the CRM, ERP and Content Management solutions for the Bank.   

At Adelphia Communications, as chief architect, Dr. Kapoor was responsible for architecture and integrating software services, hardware, and software. In addition, he was responsible for the overall architecture for IVR applications that integrate voice, digital, touch tone business applications and SAP phone systems. In his time at Watson Wyatt Worldwide, as a Senior Delivery Consultant, he architected and delivered extranet applications to support customers in 70 countries. As a senior consultant at Met Life he developed financial and healthcare applications.  Dr. Kapoor was the architect responsible for the governance of Rational Rose, OOA, OOD, OOP. As the Lead Architect and Manager for AT&T, Dr. Kapoor managed team of developers and vendors for the $800M OATS program. He also architected the client/server technology components for the FAA. While working for the Airport Authority as the Lead Architect and Manager for MWAA, Dr. Kapoor architected, designed, developed and implemented systems to handle $2.1B worth of procurements. 

Dr. Kapoor’s awards include: The Global award for Billing and Operational Support Systems for iPulsys, the RCA Award for AI Solutions, and for the Census Bureau: The Innovation Award for 2013, the Award for High Availability Websites, Outstanding contribution to architecture of web services, Outstanding contribution for dashboards, and Outstanding contribution for customer satisfaction.
